I think 2008 is going to be a very interesting year for companies going after mobile Internet consumers in 1 way shape or form.  Here’s a few I’ll be watching:

At this point, the industry needs to continue to work together to deliver a great mobile experience, so that all boats can rise with the tide.  It seems like trends are headed in the right direction, but mobile consumers have been burned for years by overpromising, overcharging, questionable billing practices, poor content and services, etc.  In short, we need to do all we can as an industry to convince consumers that it’s possible to have a great mobile Internet experience without finding a $500 bill for data charges in your mailbox at the end of the month.
